• Analytical Skills: Analyze information presented by patients, doctors, and new research.
  
  
• Detail Oriented: Precision may be one the most critical skills to possess.
  Counseling Skills: Patients need education on how to take prescriptions and the side affects to expect.
  
  
• Scientific Aptitude: Skills learned in biology, chemistry, and biochemistry are used daily and must be kept current as technology advances.
  
  
• Computer Skills: Must have command of various software programs to take new orders, find drug information, and manage inventory.
